D.E.C.M.A.
is pleased to announce the release of it's very first compilation
CD. The purpose behind the CD is twofold, (1) to provide the
association with an ongoing fundraising program, and (2) to
"showcase" many of it's very talented artists from
around the state.
Each of the artists and songwriters who are represented on
this CD generously donated their songs to this project. The
list of singers, songwriters, musicians, and producers who
collectively contributed to this album is a long and impressive
one. D.E.C.M.A. is grateful to everybody who helped to make
this CD a reality.
Nowhere else in the state of Maine will you find such a broad
assortment of original country songs on one CD. This is truly
a collector's item. Each performance is as unique as the artist
delivering it, and each artist is dedicated to the art of
country music. This is singing, songwriting, and picking straight
from the hearts of real people who have stepped up to give
the fans some of their best performances. These artists embody
the true essence of the Down East Country Music Association.

Not only does this CD bring you D.E.C.M.A. country artists
from every region of the state of Maine, but the diversity
of songs really makes this a special album. You'll hear songs
with a variety of country themes that include love, faith
and inspiration, humor, family, and the American Dream. Some
